As many of you may be aware I have been a little quiet lately.....  I have sort of lost my funny bone but hope to find it soon.  My youngest brother (48) was killed in an auto accident at the end of January (not his fault) and a month ago my father had pneumonia and was in the hospital for 6 days then 5 weeks in a nursing home.  Since I am retired it was only natural that I 'took care of things' and visited him often.

Also, since the economy is in the toilet I don't want to encourage any of you to buy anything.  Remember, this is a hobby first and a business second. I do not rely on any income from my stamp business.  Hopefully there will be a time soon when I can entice you to take a second job or file a fraudulent insurance claim so you can get your hands on some disposable income.  What better place to spend it than on stamps?

So, until next time.............hang in there and make more cards.  The sudden death of my brother awakened me to the fact that since tomorrow is not certain we can certainly take steps today to make our lives and those around us just a bit better.  Make someone smile.....including yourself !
